Default Dreamweaver - the standard for building websites

Dreamweaver is what I think should be the standard for building web sites. The reason that I say this is because it has a great portability with photoshop and imageready two of adobe's great great softwares. It also allows you to see what you are doing immediately as you implement it. You can add Flash animations in it, and a simple trip to Barnes and Noble will give you all the tools that you will ever need just start reading the 3 or fourth chapter in a book and see if it is something that you will be able to learn in your spare time. If it is then great buy it take it home and build your site.

What I would warn newbs about is you need to know a little bit of HTML coding in order to fully utilize this software because if there is a problem with your site and you don't know the coding to fix it you basically would have wasted time until you could find someone to fix it for you. Or until you learn how to fix it yourself.

I highly recommend dreamweaver I have used it in the passed and still enjoy it today.

Dreamweaver is excellent, but I find the WYSIWYG is fairly buggy, especially when using any kind of serverside technology in a file you have open.
