Getting in the front door with affiliates

Here is a possible way to get in the front door with affiliates.

First and foremost you must have a product that adds value to a potential customers/partners site. Research their site and see how you can help them in any way shape or form while still providing the excellent content of your product or service.

Then approach the client with an offer or proposal usually 50/50 for promotions this way both of you will be making money through mutual affiliation with one another.

Always keep in mind to capture the customers e-mail address's if you don't have that then you are giving away information without getting much in return.

This is an easy way to build an e-mail list of clients and as long as you provide them great customer service and great content then you should have clients for life.

Thanks for that info, also you could propose a agreement where relevant mutual content is syndicated between the sites but has to be relevant and not too commercial this can add value to each site.
