Potential of Affiliate opportunities

Hello Everybody, i am an Affiliate Marketer & I think it is necessary to pen down(type indeed)

my thoughts regarding affiliate concept.

Affiliate Matkting has a huge potential and make a person wealthy wealthy if proper attitude and techniqyes are adopted.

As an affiliate of a popular program, you have to bring more and more sales of the product or service that you are promoting.

But, all of us know that getting visitors to a website is not getting sales also.

So, it is an ongoing process and many innovative techniques to be applied to sell a product.

In most caes, affiliate programs have referral earnings and that is too lucrative bonus.

Therefore, all affiliates try to get an army of affiliate under his kitty to get as many refferal bonuses as possible.sometimes, they lure a new-bie internet marketer to join under them and show them a totally unreal dream.

U may notice many affiliate programs promise 500-100 dollar per day income potential.But, always remember it is only possible if you can bring sales or downlines under you.Otherwise, you will get nothing from them.

So, if you are really confident about geting referal and sales of a product then only join any program.

A new- bie marketer should start affilaite marketing as a learner and he should be mentally prepared of no sales during first 6/7 months.He will have to learn all the affiliate techniques by that time period.He will get success only after applying all the techniques.

So, don't get lured by the false promises and don't think Affiliate Marketing as a " Get Rich Quick Scheme".As your success mostly depends on your customers.

So, try to learn the basic principles of Affilaite Marketings & then you can start getting some fruits slowly but steadily.

Your motto should be " Slow but Steady Wins the Race".

Can you tell us more about your own trials and tribulations with affiliate marketing, eh Surab? 8)

I remember in the old days of affiliate marketing infacny, some savvy marketers made a tidy profit from promoting these programs. Nowadays, it's getting harder and harder, with thousands of affiliates competing for commissions on the same product. PPC engine, the sure-fire way of making a quick sale, are now saturated to such an extent you'd be competing with the very merchant you're promoting!

I agree with you that patience is the key. Finding niche products to promote and relying on organic search engine results are the way to go. This requires a lot of hard work and a lot of patience: getting ranked on Google takes time and effort (you have to wait at least a good 6 months to rank high on G).

PPC is no longer a surefire success for me.

Earlier days,adward bought me many sales in several internet marketing products.

But, now a days i just find many clicks on the Ads but very rare sale.

I think many clicks are invalid and a group of people are always in research to create tricks to generate invalid clicks to increase their earnings.

So,i don't trust PPC any more.PPC can work if appears in search engines pages as sponsored links.It is useless else where.

I think only forum, blog, Artilce are bringing sales for me along with Email marketing.

I get some floating byuers from FFA pages, and Banner ads also.Though they are 2 in thousands.

I am not sure about Pop up or pop under either.

So, as a whole the market is really stiff with many people coming their own affiliate program to make the visitors more confused.Often they get lured and take the wrong decision even after browsing a long hours.

From what I have read from you guys, I think affiliate programmes are a waste of time. Is it because many people are doing it or is it that there are fewer buyers for various economic reasons?

The potential will depend on you , how much effort and time you really are going to put in . If you are going to treat affiliate marketing as just a hobby to you, you will never be able to make it as successful as you want it to be. You will have to treat affiliate marketing as your own real business. When you start to have in your mind that it is your business, you will think differently.you will have to put in your time, effort and money to get the result that you want. You will have to learn all the necessary knowledge that you will need to start and make your business a success. It doesn't make money by itself.
