Can anybody tell me about various free SEO tools which could provide following things
eg, a tool to see ur site looks when crawler reads it.
a tool that will analyse the keywords of ur site
a tool that will generate ur rankings in all the major SE..

Here's a suite of some free SEO tools I use:

GooglebotSpoofer Gives your website as seen by Googlebot and other search engine robots.
iWebTool A suite of tools to check your PR, keyword density, link populairty, backlinks etc
GoogleRankings Check your ranking on Google, MSN and Yahoo for up to the 1000th SER! (this one saved me loads of time).

Yes, I totally agree with you that iwebtool is an effective website to get some good SEO related informations.

But, their article section is not up to the mark and the artilces are not updated on regular basis.

That is some huge list :O . , thanks for sharing that . When it comes to planning for a new website, it starts from keyword research. You cannot do away with keyword research. Keywords are the words that the visitors will type to find your web pages. The visitors to any website are the heart of it and to get quality visitors nothing works well than that sent by generic search engines. Here lies the importance of keyword research. You must try to find out a keyword that has good search volume and at the same time that has least competition. To find out such a good keyword, is really an extremely difficult work. But this is the tool that will definitely help you a lot in finding out effective keywords.
