Default Best one way link method is to link only to web directories

There are many methods for one way link whether that can be a paid website link back or a web directory submission.

But best method one way linking is only one which is WEB DIRECTORIES.

Google loves one way links in the manner that as a award of one way links Google gives PR (page rank) to the site or the page which gets inward links.

One way linking is the greatest way to generate PR for your site as page rank by Google for a site is directly related to the number of links that are coming inward towards that page or site.

More the link towards you site will produce more PR for your site.

Web directories are best stuff to generate one way links towards your site without any hassle it works at its 100% purity.

PR is not the only benefit of the one way links of web directories but there are some other major benefits of these directory links, some are:
1. Boost Page Rank of your site.
2. Boost Keyword Popularity for purpose of SEO
3. Auto Search Engine Submission
4. Direct Clicks Traffic

Web Directories offers you linking in two ways one is direct and another one is indirect. Direct method is that in which web directory links to your site url directly while in indirect method directory links to your site via some scripting things like: jump.php?id=12 or go.php?linkid=2.

The web directories which work with direct linking method are superb for SEO and other manners as that hits mind of search engine crawlers directly towards your site while the indirect linking is 0.00% useful for SEO purpose.

Direct linking is the method by which auto search engine submission, keywords optimization and PR boosting takes place.

Indirect linking method provides only click traffic to you website, as no way mean for SEO or PR in indirect method of linking according to search engines policies.

are there any good tutorials out there for creating a web directory? I mean I have a bit of knowledge when it comes to creating a website but I am far from a guru. I can read code and such and write some simple scripts but nothing phpish. Anyhow I would love to do a web directory I just need to get started...was curious if you knew where to start?

If you do drop me a line!!!!

Hi Cloud,

Why don't you give CMS (Content Management Systems) a go? They are really easy to set up and provide you with total control over your website. No technical stuff to master, just an easy interface you can navigate to administer and update your website. They have quite sophisticated Directory scripts, where you can add categories and rate websites by visits and populairty.

Have a look at PHP-Nuke and Xaraya

Default How to setup your own web directory !

Dear Cloud!

If you want to start you own directory then what you basically need is the most important 2 things only:

1. A web hosting.
2. A Free PHP directory script.

There are many free PHP web directory scripts but the best that I love is "PHPLINKDIRECTORY". PHPLINKDIRECTORY needs a Linux web hosting that you can get from any trusted hosting service provider may be any I will suggest www.b4uhosting.com as its my own hosting service

No way mean we are not going to market our services... You decide it that which hosting solution is best for you.

When you have a Linux hosting account go to http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/ its the homepage of PHPLINKDIRECTORY. I think for the newest version you have to pay and all old versions are free for use. We are using PHPLD version2 which can be caught at http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/dmdocuments/phpLD2.zip
You don’t go for any other tension just upload the files on to your web hosting account and go trough 5 min. job of setup of directory script via read me documentation that is included within the zip file of directory script I think.

Feel free to ask us for any support no problem, as we are working here to share our experience only

Thanks!
