Default Increasing Adsense CTR

Tips on increasing your adsense CTR:

All webmasters who use Adsense aim to increase their click-through ratio (CTR) to generate higher revenues. But how would you go about increasing your CRT to double digit, when you've been struggling with those low percentages so far? Here are some tips to help you maximise your CTR:

Go easy on click Do not offer your visitors too many options to click or leave your website. If you are promoting affiliate programs, banner ads and subscription sign-ups on the same page, chances are your visitors will be less enclined to click on those Adsense ads. Keep clutter to a minumum and your pages simple with a minimum of "click" options.

Tweak the color palette Experiment with different colours to see what works best. Generally, colours that blend in well with your website design have a better chance of getting your ads clicked as they seemlessly integrate into the copy.

Experiment and then experiment some more I can't stress this point enough. The secret, if there was any, to Adsense success is in experimenting with your copy, ad formats, design and any other factors you might think of. Simply apply a few changes, see what happens and keep those changes that boost your CRT. Overtime, you can optimise to CRT to double digits and you will be on your way to making a decent amount off your Adsense ads.

To expand a bit :

A lot of the time bannings happen not because the publisher has been clicking their own adverts but because they decieve visitors into clicking adverts.

Anything to increase CTR besides positioning and colour sceme is against tos.
:!:

So be carefull , once Google have you banned , it's very difficult to clime back up.

The true success with AdSense lies not on targeting only "high paying" keywords, but with focusing on creating highly informative content and getting repeat visitors. Google loves content. If you provide it on your website you will automatically get more visitors and increase the possibility of high click through rate which leads to more income to you and Google.
