Successful websites
I am very curious on what are the usual topics of the different websites that are considered successful. I am just starting to create my blog. But I am not sure what to place there. What do you think are the most loved topics to read in a blog?
I need your inputs. thank you so much!

A blog should be of a specific topic, not just anything that people generally like to read. A blog should be expression of yourself, something you feel strongly about or know alot about.
Write about something like that well, and you'll attract the visitors much better than writing about anything else.

I can't say much about that because I don't know. I've never been one to go for the affiliation thing.
However, one way it can be done is through IntelliTXT. You may have seen most websites have some common words double-underlined, and hovering over it shows a little description -- clicking it goes to a place where you can most likely buy the product that is highlighted.
Another way is of course, with Google's Adsense, which is basically just placing adverts on your website according to the content, so it is highly targetted.

Adsense
When creating a blog you could do google adsense which will be directly related to the topics that are on your website/blog site.
If you do this then you could I suppose make money if you had enough traffic. But to tell you the truth I am not sure if you will become the next millionaire doing this. I suppose the top sites out there that are making money would be the shops that are selling something of value to the customer. Creating that value and presenting it in a manner that is able to help the customer then they will tell their friends about the site and then you have word of mouth advertising which is awesome for generating traffic to the site.
anyhow hope that helps.

I think before you find ways to make money on your blog. First make sure your blog is up to standard. Informative, eye-pleasing , no broken links etc.. I know it seems really basic advice but I have seen many people only think of the financial rewards without thinking of thier site or blog and for some reasn thier site fails. So id say first plan your blog. Think of what topic and what subjetcs you'd like to include there and put it in there. Blogging is a communication tool therefore it needs to be updated regulary as tedious as it may be, you owe it to you visitors to keep the news updated. Theres nothing worse than visiting a site with stale information. But do keep all the old inforamtion archived for the search engine indexes

if you're thinking about blog, i'd suggest you go for video blog perhaps, the tricky part is still the same, you need a great niched topic, but compared to blogging, video blogging is the next big thing, so, you wanna play catch up or play pioneer? be smart

well said humpty, well said,
video blogging is still very undeveloped at the moment, it has all the potentials to be big soon, treat it the same as blogging, and if you can, have a text version as well, perhaps a combination of both, blog like usual with video, give a text version for it, good for spiders to crawl too

Yeah, before you even think about making lots of money you should work to make your blog perfect. Write about something you have a passion for, and something that you know alot about. Then, you can find a way of income. Google AdSense will work, but you have to make sure that you have good traffic to your website. You could try to advertise for companies which sell products that relate to your blog.

Here are some helpful tips for you to make your blog successful:
(1) The content of your blog should be simple and concise so internet users would be able to tag it easily. Make sure that every phrase, word and punctuation is meaningful and precisely written.
(2) Keywords should also be well represented and consider its density in the search engine and other keyword search tools.
(3) The design of your blog should be very appealing and interesting to web surfers.
(4) In creating your blog, you should also consider the transparency and culture of your targeted audience to establish credibility and trust.
(5) Include a dialogue community in your blog site containing several ideas and topics which can be very helpful for your audiences.
