Useful developer extensions
Hey there everyone!
I've taken the time to compile a list of very useful Firefox extensions for web developers. I'll be maintaining this list over time as I find new ones, so keep checking back (maybe make this a sticky topic?). I obviously won't list all of them because there's millions, but only ones I would reccomend. - Tidy HTML Validator This extension checks pages as they load for XHTML standards compliancy - and even does it better than the w3c checker does! (added 23/6/06) - WebDeveloper Extension This includes a whole suite of useful tools, such as disabling certain things, element outlining, window resizing and more. (added 23/6/06) - IE Tab To enhance cross-browser compatability, you can load an IE tab from within your Firefox browser to save you having to open up IE every time you want to cross check your page. (added 23/6/06) Remember to keep checking here, I'll be adding new ones all the time.
