Default What programs should i use to get started?

I was looking to start my own web business and I have some HTML knowledge but I was looking for a great program that is relatively self driven and easy to use.

Can anyone recommend anything in this field? I was hoping that you can.

I hope that if you know of any good programs that are also inexpensive that would be wonderful.

Thanks

Have a great day!!

For a self-driven and easy to navigate program i would suggest microsoft front page but it does have its limitations. the Interface on frontpage is probably easier to understand than others, as you can view either the html, the normal view (you dont need to know html juts type and select formating from the tool bar) or you can view the preview mode.

if you can get your hands on dreamweaver i would go with that option as there aretemplates in the software that look far better than frontpage's templates, and all you need to do is change their text and images with your own. Easy!

i think youi first need to look at what type of features you want ion your website,

there are many templates that comes with pre-featured features, so, modifying from there is much easier than building your own from scratch

I kinda like modifying templates. And most of the time i only use the notepad doing so. Well, nothing fancy. Just changing the colours and the buttons. Its fun.
