Default What is 301 redirect ?

Giving search engine spiders direction with a 301 redirect is an effective method to re-direcr your upgraded webpage.

Search engines may have indexed an entire website and several pages are also ranked by them. By moving and renaming these files, there always remain a risk of losing in built traffic and also a fear of landing up "404 error".

So, 301 redirect will help you in this regards.

The code "301" is defines as "moved permanently" by SEO specialsists. After using this technique , the URL of the missing or renamed page can be traced & finding the new location or file name is also possible.

You can make search in nay major serach engine by typing "301 redirect and can get more information.

Hmmm, seems like I really need to brush up on these technical terms if I ever wanna build an online business lol

I'm really kinda lost, it's like I know what you're talking about, but I can't understand it fully, as in if I were to try using the techniques mentioned, I'm not quite sure if I'm able to achieve it.

Hello humpty, not to be worried at all.

There are lots of free technical guidance available on net and after careful surfing about 3/4 months can make you familiar with all these technical terms.

But, if you have not worked with all these things, you can't get in depth knowledge & understanding.

The 301 Permanent Redirect informs search engine spiders that the web page previously at this location has been 'Permanently' moved. In the case of Google, all PageRank will be moved over to the new page.
In time the old web page will fade from the search engine indexes and be replaced by the new web page.
