Default Whats legal in one country, illegal in another

Just a word of warning. I have heard of a case where a merchant shipped out products to another country in good faith, and the customer was prosecuted as those products were illegal in that country. I don’t think that the merchant got in trouble because in his country the products were legal, but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to have some sort of disclaimer or something.

This is very important if your business is " crossing borders" :!:

Take matter very seriously cause implications can be very harsh.

Hmm, thats interesting. I heard about that stuff too. I usually never ship internationally, so this most likely wont affect me. But just for a heads up, do you know what specific products were involved? Or which countries? Or which products are illegal in certain countries? Has this affected anyone on here?

Well , I have not really heard about this stuff but yes m, the seller has no issues and should not be involved in any issues as he is doing something perfectly legal as he is just selling something which is legal in his country , but yes the buyer can be as he might be trying to get his hands on something illegal through the internet as a good medium as it connects you globally , the buyer should be aware about the product and it should be his duty to know if he is bringing in a legal thing or not .
