What you have to do is to subscribe to one on the
many free yahoo expired domains services on the web (make a search on Google,
domain names that are available to be bought at any domain name registrar (5/6 dollars)
but that appear to be still listed on yahoo. When you receive one, don't bother if it is in
the wrong category etc.....all you have to do is to buy the domain, to put some content
related to the category on yahoo where it is listed and then to contact yahoo; when you contact
yahoo, tell them that you are the legitimate owner of the domain+site and that you are changing
your business, from the one of the site in question, to your real website; tell them that you
want them to replace that listing for that domain with a new listing for your new business;
accordingly to their policy, they will cancel the old listing for the old domain and will add the new one,
at no charge in a matter of a few days.
If the expired domain name was submitted before the paid inclusion service was launched,
your site will be listed there forever without you being asked for any renewal.
If it was
submitted afterwards, you will be asked for paying additional $299, after one year is passed:
you can still refuse at that time, if you want, but at least you will have gained a free listing
for a while.
