There are many ways and tips to get listed by search engines by are you aware of what you may be doing to ‘not’ get listed?

Firstly don’t bother trying to trick search engines it rarely works and it will only get your site banned from engine listings. Ways that people use to trick engine is by submitting multiple identical pages or by listing keywords in other areas than the Meta tags. I am not meaning with the content , but rather than placing them inappropriately such as a list a list of keyword on the footer or blend it in by changing the font to the background color etc. Do not also use multiple title tags within you page. Engine can detect this. It is also not wise to resubmit to an engine within 24hours this is viewed as spammed. Also don’t use keywords that would promote high traffic if they having nothing to do with your site. Rather than being spam think about it. If a person was searching that specific keyword that wouldn’t bother sticking around your site.

Well , There are many ways that you can really get out of the search engines , but who would want to do that ? Submitting again and again in different categories also , to search engines and directories is one way to get blacklisted , a few people who after finding that their site was not indexed after one week, re-submitted their site to the search engines. This is not recommended! If you do this too often, the search engines will think you are spamming. Some webmasters use popular keywords in their meta tags in an attempt to attract more traffic, but this does not work, as the search engines only look at their relevance to your web page. If you sell sofas, place only words related to sofas in your meta tag. These are just some of the ways , I am sure there are many things out there too .
