Keyword density is a combination of the number of times a keyword or a keyword phrase, in proportion with other words, appears on a Web page. The more times the keyword appears in relation to the total number of on page words, the greater the overall keyword density.

All search engines consider keyword density as part of their search algorithm. Each search engine has a different mathematical equation regarding the density of keywords that is rewarded with higher search ranking placement.
However , there is also a different level of tolerance between the different search engines as to the degree of density permitted before a penalty is imposed. :wink:

If there is something "wrong" with your search rankings and you've tried everything else , pay attention to your keyword density :!:

Maybe that procent is too big or too little... , depends on search engines ...

you are you saying that although keyword density is very good for search engines, one should be careful that it does not cross a certain limit that creates an opposite effect???

if yes, can you elaborate more about the limits imposed by the big three search engines?

Exactly ,just like there is limit for everything including keywords has its own limits and crossong that might get yopur website out of the google and it may take soe time to get into it again , also because bombarding a webpage with keywords makes no sense at all to the visitor .Keyword Density is the percentage of frequency of your keywords to the text in the rest of your webpage.Key density is critical because Search Engines implement this information to determine a websites theme, and which keywords the site is relevant for.And much more the density ,the more chances are that this practise will be termed as keyword spamming .
