Default Common laws to stamp out frauds on the internet

A system must be evolved to Police the internet so that fraudsters and scam originators can e brought to book. The UN must intervene to enact a common law or treaty that should be signed by all member countries to prosecute offenders. This will be a deterrent to the many fraudsters on the net who a now having a field day. I solicit view from users of the internet so that this can be sent to the new Secretary General of the UN for his perusal.

true....very true.....
but how would we be able to do that?

even google is having trouble with click frauds, some which they can't even identify or proof as frauds

and it doesn't help that the number of people who abuse the internet is growing everyday

The big think tanks of the cyber world should get together and find a solution to this problem. Other wise gullible people will keep losing and finally people will loose trust in cyberspace business.

Its a long term profit making venture. What if all the people loose faith in the internet business? It will be a total loss for the big engines as well. So its better to take action now to protect the future. Won't you agree with me hilliebillie

Default The topic about fraudsters or scam originators was diverted

First I wish to commend hassen1 for raising an issue about fraudsters or proponents of scams. Well, these culprits would obliterate the image of online businesses. Definitely, it would be difficult to establish trust between the clients and online business proponents or pioneers. We have to bring into push some measures on how to deter these types of people. May I ask how spam functions? I have been using such if I wish to deter someone from pissing me off. By the way such stalker or whoever he is might be one of the suspected fraudters. Thank you!

rowenahere, the best way to stamp out frauds is to bring such people to justice. The schemes they operated should be widely publicised so that others can be watchful of future fraudsters. They thrive on our kindness. Because, good people trust each other. This world is built on trust. You trust your partner at marriage. You trust he/she will be faithful and so on. This human kindness is exploited by fraudsters. So gullible people get caught. Let’s discuss about these people in every forum so that many people get to know their schemes. In Sri Lanka, recently two very young nice looking Indians defrauded over 5000 people. Their names are Dominic George alias Daniel George and Rajkumar alias Rajashekar. Both from South India operated a company named seagull softwares. The Interpol is after them The former is now in Cochin, India while the later is reported to have fled to Canada.

I think you're right, but then again, pictures unless it's a picture of you, it doesn't tell the gender, your's einstein, so, you should be a male, but that's just an assumption right hehehehhee

My picture shows that I'm a male, matured and in a position to advice. It's only a symbol. If you look at my real picture you might run away and not come to this forum again!

A big issue and it keeps getting serious with growing web . the main problems at the moment are ‘phishing’ or ‘spoofing’ scams. This is where the use of Spam or junk-email is used to lure computer users to look-alike websites where they are deceived into giving out personal information and financial data. Often these emails are coming from trusted sources where hackers have altered links to send you straight into their ‘pockets’. The Internet user is duped into thinking that they are visiting a trusted website page, when actually it is an excellent copy of the original. There might be only one tiny change in the web address that is often not easily recognizable.
