How to increase your website search ranks ?

How exactly do you increase your website search rank? I mean, to get more clicks you need to have a good search rank, right? So, how do you do that?

there are tonnes of ways to get that done,
would you go for natural ranking or not natural ranking? lol

basically that means, natural ranking, you don't really do extra work, you just make an effort to do the best website, update fresh contents regularly and let the engines find you in time,

unnatural ones include spending money to do extra efforts, so the rankings can go higher faster

Well, some people got the best website, a nice looking one with a lot of information in it. But in a wide internet world, it's hard to compete because not everybody play fair.

Hmmm..but it cost some money, huh? Don't they have anything good for free anymore now a day?
