Sell books online

There's an article about selling books online that i thought i'd share with you guys. Who knows, maybe it could be an idea for any of you to start an online business. Its actually a simple business.

All you need to do is to buy used books, new too if you have good sources. Then you should grade the books according to the book's condition such as good, very good, new..etc. Determine the online value of the books and if its a used book be fair and lower the price. List the book with an online marketplace and pack and ship the books once they sell. Sort of like having an ebay store.

Maybe you could even set up your own website for it and sell the books there.

Fadyllan, selling books especially those who are in my archives of books and could be sold to potential buyers is a good idea that would help me generate some income. Wow! I could even do the selling through online transactions, that is if I were able to work on my website successfully. What would be the arrangement, then? Let us say, a buyer is interested to purchase my book, how are the payment and the delivery of the goods would be done? Would you like to expound on this matter?

Hello rowena, once i did read about a online credit card service, where potential customer could pay you using credit card, then you will be given a card which you can use to withdraw your money using any of your local bank. I suppose it's like an online banking. I read about it a long time ago, i forgot about the detail. But i'll dig through it again.

And after their payment is complete and cleared, to deliver, you can pack the books, easy enough, put it in a box and wrap it. And ship it off.

This is a marvelous idea Fadyllan. Especially if you could have those hard to find books (collector's item). You could sell them at a more expensive price or you could even let the customers bid for such item..cool! 8)

Also , the best part is that you can also sell used book online on amazon , like the course books during your study that you do not need anymore . You can now simply publish and sell your book online in soft cover, hardcover or ebook format and make extraordinary profits (more so than you would have made from an established publisher). Countless authors are brining in thousands of dollars on a monthly basis promoting their works online.
