Default Link building?

What is exactly is this and how do you do it? I hear about it all the time on freelancing websites and stuff and they offer A LOT of money for this stuff. So I want to know some more about it. Is it easy to start. Any tips for beginners?

u mean providing link building services to other people and accepting a payment for it??

well, i'm not too sure bout this but you can always invest in a reliable link building engine, and start advertising your services i guess,

the clients do not need to know how u do it, just build the links with that engine hehehe, but it's a tedious job i must say, as for whether it's suitable for you or not, i guess you really need to ask yourself

Exactly what I was thinking. What is a link building engine? Also, I see on freelancing websites they're are many 'link building' jobs. What are 'one-way links?' Thats not the early term I don't know. "Reciprocal Links"? Non-reciprocal? PR3 Links? Also, how much experience does link building take? And what should you know?

I can answer the 'what should you know' question, though. Plenty!
And i can't help but wonder how clueless i am about this link building thing. Maybe if only i know like half of these knowledge i would be living in a mansion allready..Well, sort of..

Heh, well I guess your not the only clueless one. I'm mainly interested on this because there are MANY freelancing jobs with link building. I am all about money. So, I want to know if its something anyone can do, or it has to be someone with certain skills. If those skills are achievable, I plan to acquire those skills and start 'link building.' But as for now, I'm still clueless, so I probably won't start link building anytime soon..

Smile manual link building is better than others

The most common method of link campaign is the reciprocal links campaign. This method involves the following steps:

• Searching for related websites in search engines with a decent Page Rank
• Sending a request mail to the Webmaster to add your link.
• After a link has been placed in their site, you will add a link to your website
• Prepare separate report for added links with the relevant information it will usefull for your future verification.

Hmm, I've heard all about reciprocal links. They are free, right? I hear it's a really good way to promote your website or company because all you have to do is ask the website to host your ad, and if they host it you host there ad back. That way, it's a win-win situation and works out for both people.

There many ways to building links through links exchanges .There are websites that are dedicated to the purpose of exchanging links between websites . There are several link directories that allow you to see the Google page rank, view the website, and determine whether or not you want to request a link exchange. After requesting to exchange links, the other person can either accept or decline your request. Also you can try the social networking websites like orkut and bebo , where you can find people with similar interest plus some groups and communities dedicated specifically o this purpose .
