Default Where can i sell my comics

I have a whole lot of Marvel comics, i collected them when i was a kid. But now, i want to sell them, preferably online. However i don't want to sell them in Ebay. I figure it will be better if i sell them to a website that is specialize in comics or better still, provide a place to put up comics for auctions. Anybody know this kind of sites? Care to share some information?

Sell them on ebay , there is a buyer for every thing there are you are bound to find some there . additional benefit is that ebay searches are on the top of search engines , and if someone searched "buy comics" , yiu got it , but make sure you include proper keywords like these . another great option is amazon.com.mostly for books people prefer amazon . I dont the idea of selling them to a website is fine as at first finding a reliable source is problem .

I agree that e-bay would be the best option, but if you’re set against it there are a few other sites you can go to. Nostalgiazone.com is a cool site I’ve visited a couple of times. They have some pictures of the guys there and they look like total comic book-geeks (no offense , I also collect comic books, Marvel as well) so that should give you some confidence. I’m sure if you send them an e-mail they’ll be more than glad to help and maybe make you an offer or two.

Have you thought of putting up your own site or blog and maybe offering them there? That is another idea: you can post pics of your comic books to show they are in mint condition (as done on e-bay) and basically talk about them and stuff. I think a blog would be the best way to go with this.

- One thing I’m not sure of is what restrictions if any Marvel may have concerning the sale and purchase of their comic books online. So that might be something to keep in mind as well.

Vintage Comics often fetch four figure sums on eBay and are worth searching out at boot sales, flea markets, local auctions and collectors’ fairs. You’ll find people buying comics for more than just collecting value. Collecting value is strong and represents some of the highest finishing prices on eBay, but interest and consequently bidding wars are hotting up between bidders wanting comics for their stunning art work or as alternative investments to resell when prices peak or to keep for the proverbial ‘rainy day’.
