think....... imagine if a site owner can have the best SEO company to make their site on the top of google searches but offer poor services.. and those who are'nt.. does not know about google or SEO... would you still consider the top of the google search the right one to choose...

IMHO if the seo company is good and as you specify the "BEST" i think they will deliver results. Thier whole reputation is on stake if they are not able to deliver results.

It doesnt mater if google offer poor services but IMO its far better than all other major search engines.Its a fact google screws up more every day, but its so far ahead of the competition that its scary.Will i still use google , the answer us Yes !Savvy people will continue to use google. Normal people continue to use google. Until something comes along that is either better, or at least half as good with far better marketing, that's the way it will stay.

google is still the only search engine that I use. Sounds to me like there are a few disgruntled webmasters who are not ranked where they think they should be. google is fast, simple and always gives me the search results that I am looking for. Grant it sometimes I have to provide more detailed search criteria; however, I always find what I am looking for.
google is the number one search engine for a reason.

Well there are many SEO freelancers who do this work very efficiently and the problem is to the users who think that the top seraches are always genuine results .The problem could be that it is very hard for search engines like google to establish which links that each site obtains are from these link exchanges and which links are actual real and valid links. It is possible that google is close to finding a formula to this problem and is delaying any page rank updates on older sites until all of the finishing touches are completed.
