E-skills shortage
Because of the e-skills shortage, both dotcoms and established companies have to take a degree of risk on IT staff who have the skills they need but not the experience, and on business managers who have experience of running traditional companies, but not of internet operations. Businesses are coming to terms with it because they have no choice but to do so. But David Plummer, managing director of IT and Telecoms recruitment consultancy Triage Consulting, believes in any case that the level of risk has been exaggerated as the internet has been over-mystified. Think of the internet as nothing more than a network, albeit one that everybody can access, he argues, and it helps to put things in perspective.
"One of the main problems in start-up organisations is that they don't have the traditional commercial skills and management skills" says Plummer, "so that causes them all sorts of problems. If you look at the number of start-ups that have failed, that would be one of the main reasons, things like: 'we're going to need cash, for capital investment and for cash-flow, where are our income streams coming from?' A lot of the start-ups have a great idea but they don't have the commercial, legal, marketing expertise, so traditional skills are actually still very much in demand."

Your thread of thoughts as the authority of IT and Telecoms confirmed, intrigued me most. Information Technologists do really have much to contribute in the arena of technology; they are rich in terms of theoretical and conceptual knowledge. However, not everything can be learned in a university. Thus, even those who have not acquired a Bachelor’s degree or formal education in Information Technology can be competitive through technical exposures and hands on experiences.

Most people assume that E-skills do not pay as well as most professions do, therefore they have no interest in gaining E-skills. If one has mastered many areas then they will get paid well. Depending on how good you are, you can make a living just off your E-skills.

Anyone with established skills about anything may that be in technological parlance or whatever, that skills could be her valuable assets toward progress. In e-world, if you embody the necessary e-skills you have the greater guarantee of succeeding. If you lack any of the required skills, it is never too late to learn them. Besides, in freelance writing, you can always learn something new in every writing endeavor that you engage your self with.

Yeah, that is true. In freelance writing, whatever your doing will help you build for a better freelancing career. And on the internet, learning a skill is never a waste, because it will help you somewhere along the road. Even though people assume you can't make as much money as a real profession, the skills ad up and if you know enough skills on the net, you can easily make lots of money.

Actually the industry of doing business online and knowing about the terms such as online marketing , affiliate programs and many things like google advertising and related businesses have no formal training , at least in most parts of the world . Also so people are usually looking for offline work and giving it more importance than making money online . Most people think that if they do not get a job in some company according to their Cv that is not acceptable and they just do not look at online opportunities . In india also there is no shortage of IT skills but the mentality of people is that a job that is in a company is better and they don't take the fact that they can make money freelancing too if they do not get the job .
