Default Newsletters should have catchy subjects

Here's where the cookie crumbles. The subject line may consist of a few words but plays the most important role and decides if the person will actually open the mail or not! So while deciding on the subject like keep the following points in view.

Always make sure to keep the subject line short. Keep it less than 5 words
Never use all caps
Keep it in tune with the content inside
Never make it look impersonal if not personal
Add a personal touch if possible. E.g.: Mentioning names
Try asking a question. Questions are more engaging than statements
Never give it a marketing mail sound
Never use 'YOU'. Making use of 'You' in the subject line can make it look like spam
Oops! Never use exclamation marks in a subject line

Default Eye Catchers First

If it is a news letter it should be read by all. This is only possible when it has a catchy label. This is a simple psychology that when the cover is beautiful only then one thinks of seeing inside it. Once beautiful outside it is chosen even if it is not so good inside.

Newsletters provided good ones are always a great idea . more and more companies and organizations are using their ‘newsletters’ as a promotional ploy to drive you to pages on their sites. These newsletters, where significant value lies in the body of the newsletter itself, are becoming harder and harder to find.you now see numerous newsletters where an article is not included in its entirety. You simply get a teaser and a link to a page on their site. This may be great if you want to maximize the traffic to your site each time you send out a newsletter.
