Default Yahoo! maps releases from beta

Yahoo! Maps has come out of Beta. Check out our more detailed notes on the Yahoo! Local & Maps Blog. Since they released the beta version, they’ve spent time optimizing the product and responding to user feedback to make it ready for mainstream use. The new Yahoo! Maps gives the users a more expedient method of finding locations and getting driving directions, and is an even more powerful tool within Yahoo! Local.

About time Yahoo is stepping up with the competition. Google released Google Earth a long time ago. MSN also had the live local thing to provide some competition with Google. So, it's about time that Google has the maps on. What I'd like to see is which one of the maps is more accurate. The stuff I see on Google Earth isn't really updated, it's from a few years back. So some time I'm going to test all 3 of them to see which one is the most updated.

Lol, well I haven't used the maps from Yahoo, but I have used the maps from Google and MSN. Msn's one is called Live Local or something like that. Google Earth is really user friendly and it's pretty good. Microsofts is better map wise, but it isn't close to user friendly-ness like Google. So, my vote would have to go to Google.
