Default What’s secondary market research

Market research may also come from secondary sources. This is information others have acquired and already published which you may find relevant. Access to this secondary market research data may be yours for the asking and cost you only an email, letter, phone call, or perhaps a nominal fee for copying and postage. Much of it is entirely free. Much of it is available to search on the Internet.

Well this is the most used method of collecting data because it is so easy and also it is a very cheap method to collect information .This process involves collecting data from either the originator or a distributor of primary research. In other words, accessing information that others have already gathered. In most cases this means finding information from third-party sources such as marketing research reports, consulting firm white papers, magazine articles, and other sources.
