Default Writing in seo?

I really don't get what your supposed to do. I understand that SEO means Search Engine Optimization, but after that I have no clue. Are you just supposed to write your paper with alot of keywords in it? Cause if that's the case, that seems like anyone can do it. So you can't really train to write in SEO, can you?

I'm assuming that's how it work. Although, it wouldn't be fun to write at the same knowing that you have to use specific words for it. Obviously one would prefer to write using their own style, but having to think about these keywords kinda restricted it. So, you need to construct your sentence around the keywords.

Lets try, construct a sentence using these keywords.

cellphones
accessories

Well, I guess it doesn't take that much training then. You just have to write an article and make sure that the keyword is in it a whole lot. Lately I've been seeing the phrase keyword density, and then it has a percentage. So if the keyword density had to be 3%, then I'm guessing that means 3% of the total words in the article have to be on of the keywords, right?

Now a day, people don't just settle on a nice looking and working cellphones, but accessories are almost as important as the phone itself.

Like that?

Heh, well I was guessing so I really don't know. But if I had to go with an educated guess then I'd think that keyword density percentage means that the keyword needs to be that much percent dense in the paper. So if it was 2% that means that out of all the words for the article, 2% must be the keyword so that the paper is keyword rich.

I'm getting more confuse than ever. Haha! Anyway, how do we know what keyword to use in a specific topic? I mean, how do we know that the keyword is a jackpot or it's just a guessing game? And with the percentage thing, is there some kind of software to count it? Hmm..i am so lost..
