Paid to go to websites?
Is this true? I here two stories. First story being, yes you get paid. Second story being, No, you don't. I understand that some of the stuff out there is just a big scam, but there has to be some of them that are legit. Apparently you just go to a few websites and you get paid. But then how are THEY making money, that's what I don't get. Someone please tell me if this stuff is legit or not.
So far the website I've been considering is..

I don't get it either. I used to participate in these thing, but other than putting on my money and get more in return, i didn't really understand how it really work. But i suppose they pay you to check out their site because it could increase their traffic. The way i understand it, it's all about getting more traffic.

You used to participate in these things? Can you tell me some more info about them? What did you have to do, and how much money did you make? Is it really worth it? I really have no clue about this topic whatsoever, which is why I made the thread. So I guess I might give it a try if it's worth it.

If i may share my experience, i used to participate in the 12dailypro.com and i did earn some. I'm assuming now that the 13dailypro is from the same company. I don't know if the 12dailypro still exist because they did dissapear back then. It was good while it last, though. The think is, you have to make an account with them, put in your money, and they do have a minimum requirement for that. Then, you surf the pages once a day for a few days, as in 12dailypro you have to surf for 12 days.
For every 12 days that you surf is considered one cycle. At the end of this cycle you will get 12% profit from the amount of money that you deposited before. Then, you may withdraw your money. Back then, they use e-gold. I don't know what they use now.
Is it worth it, that depends. Like i said, it was good until it last. Lucky for me, i managed to get all my money out before they dissapear. Some people got burn. And there are plenty, trust me, of these and they dissapear when it became a hit. Maybe they just got greedy and run or maybe they just simply can't handle the huge amount of clients, i dont know.
My advice, if you want to try your hand in this, do it with cautions. Don't get greedy and don't put too much money at one time. When you finish the cycle, if you want to recycle your capital, do so, but withdraw your profits. So, if they run, you at least save something.

Hmm, I see. It's really easy for them to be perceived as a fraud that just steals your money because you have to invest before you can make money. So, they can just take your money if they're bad. So you are right , it's smart to invest a small amount, and take out the amount you put in when you make enough profits. I'd rather do something where you don't have to invest, like freelancing. [/b]

There are people behind some websites whose main motive is to steal money from the users. Thus, whenever, I encounter some Web sites that ask for some amounts I usually think twice. You are right! It is right to invest a small amount and make gains out of it.
Freelancing, however needs minor investment like internet connection, some information resources and the like. Yet, the capitals are too easy to shoulder especially if you have the skills in writing or whatever the freelancing jobs demand from you.

Its almost the same actually. In this autosurf programme, there are possibilities that they might steal from you. So does freelancing. The only different is, for autosurf you lose money. In freelancing, you spent time to complete the project but suddenly they don't pay you. Its a waste of time and energy. Both have set backs, so you just need to understand how much you can afford to risk on the first place.

Freelancing is safer I guess because many of the freelancing websites offer appeals processes where they will listen to both sides of the story so sometimes you might actually win if someone steals from you. But yes, you are right. In one of the situations they can steal money, and in the other they can steal your time and energy. You just have to be extra cautious.

Really? You can make an appeal? Does getafreelancer do that?
Well, i agree that in both situation, you just have to be cautious. But sometimes bad thing happend, and i believe, as frustrating as it is, we all prefer to lose a bit of time and energy compare to losing money, huh?

Yeah I guess your right, I would rather lose some time and energy than losing my money. But to answer your question, getafreelancer doesn't have the appeals process. Many of the other freelancing websites do. I wish getafreelancer had something like that, but they've made changes so its a BIT better now.

It is the same funds every where , ADVERTISING . this is how is functions . A websiteopens up saying all the customers that it will pay them to visit other websites . What they do is that since they are advertisers and they link up with websites wanting traffic , and then they make adverisements of them which you call visiting websites . Advertisers are paid a fair share per 100 hits etc . and they share the revenue with us customers who sign up to earn money .

I see how that works. And it makes a lot of sense. The company will think that they are advertising well and are producing a lot of traffic, so then they get more revenue. Then they share that with customers. But, which sites do this? Does anyone have any websites that pay well? This seems like an easy job. Someone put some links up please

Well its not good for the advertsing company at first , because they are not getting quality traffic.. It is not a pure organic traffic in the true sense , nor is it inorganic traffic . It is forced traffic .
Next comes the people who join paid to visit programs , only if you have a decent number of referrals , you are to gain something like a few tens of dollars per month , because they pay you some cents and or say pennies per email and that will ( by calculations ) take you over a year to earn an amount like 15 dollars .

My experience has been that you click on the ad and get paid $.02-$.05 per email you read. I don't know about visiting websites. I guess they make money if you like what you see and spread the word or utilize the website yourself. As for the emails, they are always hoping that you will sign up for their "free" bonuses. As I have said before, nothing is ever for free. Only love and that is debatable sometimes too.

It is not a vey good way to make money online . That is without referrals because you only get merely 1 to 2 cents per email that you read , now you dont even get that many emails a day to make even half a dollar , so it is really a waste of time that you do .only if you have a decent number of referrals that you can hope to make some money , otherwise like on a website like emailpaysu , they have a minimum payment of 15 dollars , one without referrals will take years to reach that amount .
