Default How to land consistent web hosting sales

Your online marketing success is very much dependant on sales and yet to make sales you need a constant flow of sales leads or prospects. Actually there are a number of web sites doing exactly this and yet they do not have enough sales to be viable. More often than not, the problem will lie with their conversion rates. That is the rate at which they are converting prospects or sales leads into actual clients and customers.

Recently I saw a very impressive press release about a totally new concept of online marketing. I quickly clicked on the link which took me to the site. As soon as I arrived there the first thing I saw was that they had so far registered sales of only 8. That discouraged me and I immediately lost interest in the site. The reason why I (and probably a lot of other visitors to the site) lost interest was simply because the site told me up front something that I did not want to hear. My reaction was that I would look at the site again when it made more significant sales and had a higher following.

Many webmasters completely ignore and disregard human nature when setting up their web sites and online businesses with tragic consequences as I have just displayed from the example above. Let me make it clear that telling people what they want to hear is not lying or holding back information. It is focusing on the issues that the prospect will be excited to hear - the stuff that will "turn them on", so to speak. This is a critical skill in ensuring a high conversion rate and ultimately the success of any website.

The only way to do this is to put oneself in the shoes of the prospective client or customer. This is something that may not be very easy to do, but it is extremely important in enabling a site to turn enough prospects into paying customers so that they can be successful.
