Yeah, sell your own product, it's way better than earning with Adsense in my opinion, send traffic to your own merchant store, it doesn't matter if it's physical goods or digital goods, digital is better I think, less cost, but anyway, like I said, sending traffic to youir own merchant store or a white label one is better than making money with random advertisements with Adsense.
I think so coz there's so little money in Adsense, unless you really have loads and loads of traffic, and I usually find it annoying to have so many Adsense on a page I'm trying to read. Again, if you have such traffic, why not make use of it more targetedly, seek out what they want, sell something they want to them, and make money from there?
