The key to getting a high ranking in the search engines is to keep adding keyword rich, relevant content to your website regularly. If you are updating your site all the time, the search engines will know they need to come back and spider it all the time.
There are a lot of different SEO (which stands for Search Engine Optimization) tricks, tips, and tactics out there right now. Some of them work, but most are giant wastes of time for the benefit provided.
Sadly, a few will actually demolish your rankings and worse yet, if you use a couple of the "tricks" I've seen for increasing your ranking in Yahoo you can count on your site being banned outright (ouch). :cry:
