Default How do you blend a picture into the background?

Question: How do you blend a picture into the background?
I need to make a background where a picture blends into the background.I want the picture to be "diffused", not sharp and in focus, and the edges gradually fade away and blend with the background color.

Answer:
Use Photoshop. With this program, there is an action called "Soft Border". Simply use your outline tool for drawing a rectangle abou 10 pixels from the outer edges of the program, and click on the action "Soft Border". This will create the softened edges.

If you do not use Photoshop, then most programs do have tutorials online in order to assist you in using their special effects. If you can't find the answer, then go to your favorite search engine and type in "tutorials for name-of-program" (listing your graphic program there, of course) and you should find info there.
