HP Beats Dell

Still a volatile period for PC market, HP beats Dell during the forth quarter of last year on the volume of PC shipments resealed. Hewlett-Packard was able to make a solid lead of 3.4 percent share of advantage over Dell.

However, over-all ranking for the entire year, Dell retains the number one spot with just 0.1 percent separating it from HP.

congrats to HP, personally speaking, they make better stuff than dell, but dell's low price is too good for most people to reject

Well , even I am really impressed with HP products , starting with printers , the most nice ones have been their pavilion notebooks and PCs .But these are the two companies, which define the term 'PC' in slightly different ways, differ on the market share rankings of the rest of the top tier vendors.HP has extended its lead over Dell in PC sales according to two industry reports.
