Free Music to college students... from big labels

Music piracy is one major problem plaguing the music industry worldwide today.

So major music labels have agreed to support a service that will offer free music downloads to any college students—that's the only substantial restriction.

Ruckus Network, will be supported by advertising on its Website and on the software used to download and play songs. Four major record labels and several independent labels has given Ruckus the license to charge lower rates other than they charge other mass-market music services thinking that college students would rather steal songs, than pay their normal charges monthly.

Obviously, ti's a big gesture of moral and integrity development from the music industry to teach the youngsters the value of honesty not just among themselves, but also among their peers.

To me, that sounds like a good plan. The music people will be making more money than they were before. And, the truth is most college students just download the music instead of actually paying for it. Now, the college students can not break the law and get music illegaly. I guess its a win-win situation if the college students can stop downloading music illegally.

Well this is just a step towards it , but until there is free music available people will not hesitate to downlaod it for free . now tell me , if you get something for free at the same time yo pay even 1 dollar for it , amybe some will pay but majority , no , they will like it free.
