Default YouTube to Reward Money Incentive

YouTube will give out money incentives thru the promise of revenue sharing as it recently declared. It has confirmed that it is set to share the revenue it makes from uncopyrighted videos in an attempt to reward creativity.

This means that YouTube will have to prescreen the tons and millions of videos being uploaded daily by its users. This may be a big risky step for YouTube knowing that its main attraction to vast of users around the globe is its unscreened appeal of uploading videos.

A San Francisco-based newly video-sharing offering today is the Flixya. Just like YouTube, Flixya also shared videos widely via Internet and share revenue as well. Flixya’s revenue sharing program is extended at 50/50 rate for those internet users who submit their videos from other video-sharing websites such as Youtube, Daily Motion, Google Video, Metacafe and MySpace Video. All you have to do is paste the video code in the box, add the title, tags and description, and then hit submit button. The revenue sharing program is linked with Google Adsense, wherein the publisher’s ID is used 50% of the time. The program also has schemes of Rewards program and Charity program.

Wait, so does this mean that normal people like us can get payed for YouTube? Or that big organizations or companies that realease screeners or trailers will get paid by YouTube?

What kind of money are they talking about? Probably a few cents per on thousand viewings. People don't need any incentive at this point to get creative on YouTube. I think it is just fine the way it is and they shouldn't mess with a formula that has proven to work well for them. They are probably trying to raise legal fees for everyone who is suing them poor babies.

Well , I think if the revenue comes out good then there is no ham in getting paid for it . because there are other websites that are doing this thing of sharing revenue with videos . Also the fact that they are sti;; a long way to go before they reach what google is , its like i think the same video will do ten times better on youtube and one can really make some good bucks with say a 10 videos a month .but the only thing that they got to be interesting .
