LG to Rival iPhone

LG Electronics will be teaming up with big fashion icon Prada to come up with a similar touchscreen multimedia cellular phone.

It also has 2 megapixel camera, video, and music player. It is a bit smaller compare to iPhone and has a has bluetooth and features 3G connectivity.

And how it particularly defeats iPhone? It has an expandable memory card, something iPhone lacks.

hahahahhaha good one from LG, expandable memory card, but i think apple would be catching up very soon with a new version loaded with more impressive stuff, this si just the first version, as with apple, there's always a better version ahead

Yeah, I agree. This is the first time apple is coming out with a phone. So, a phone of this caliber is simply a test phone to them. They can use this phone and then do some market research to find out what went wrong, and then they can fix it. LG has made many phones before, so it will be interesting to see who wins. Also, LG already had the "chocolate" phone which was a big hit.

I am neither excited about the Iphine or the chocolate .As for apple it is cashing in on the popularity of ipod and lg i think has never been so close in cell phone market .Although LG is using an interface similar to Apple's, and has similar features, it doesn't matter. For one thing, touchscreen interfaces have been around for a while. Any company could make a touchscreen cell phone if they wanted. It's also got a web browser.
