Have you ever imagine a website that can name the title of the tune your humming?

Midomi, practically a new website in the market today did just that. The website allows people to search for a song by singing, humming or whistling a bit of he tune. The site then offers search results that include commercially recorded tracks of the song recorded by others who have used the site. The new technology also lets people listen to he same exact section of each results that matched their voice sample.

Melodis, the company behind the site, started in a dorm room in Stanford—and the idea for Melodis came a bit that same year of 2004.

The website also enables the user to type in a song or artist to get results. Plus the system recognizes misspelled words all at he same time.

It is certainly true what other people usually say about success stories.... “Great things start from small beginnings”. Surely it is for Melodis.
