Dutch company iZito
Witnessing the success of Google is enough to make any money minded web programmer jump on the search engine bandwagon.
That’s exactly what Dutch company iZito has done, while trying to add a few new features to ensure it is not a Google clone. One of the features – the ability to ‘park’ links into a ‘to do list’ for later viewing – is interesting enough and does solve the problem of constantly scrolling and looking for sites on many pages. Search engines generally work well when they are simple, quick and accurate to use and this is generally the case here. There is a UK search option button, but it doesn’t scroll on the browser bar, which is a pain if you are used to using a wheel mouse. Not bad but no Google killer either.
