iPhone competitors say it won't be succesful

Although many are waiting for the arrival of the iPhone, many of its competitors say that the iPhone will not be as successful as the iPod. The iPod is already a big hit all over the world, with many people using it everyday. But, competitors say that many of the features that are being talked about in the iPhone aren't even new. Plus, they say that the iPhone is missing many features it could add. Other competitors are adding those features, as they hope to beat the iPhone. The iPhone will generate many rivals and competitors.

The Apple Iphone is a cellphone designed for multimedia and Internet enabling capabilities. Apple CEO Steve Jobs recently announced at the MacWorld Conference & Expo that Iphones are about to be released this June 2007. Units will be made available at all Apple stores and has a launching price of $499 for the 4GB model and $599 for the 8GB model. Each model has a 2-year service warranty. Among the included features of the Iphones are camera phone, multimedia player, and mobile telephone, and Internet services such as e-mail, text messaging, web browsing and wireless connectivity. In the future Apple is planning to create 3G phones and other related technologies for Iphones.

Man that price is really expensive. I guess even though the Apple iPhone comes with alot of stuff, you could probably get a really small iPod and a small phone for less than that price. But the fact that everyone will be crazy over a new gadget coming out will probably help their sales.

Unusually on the Apple boards, the iPhone is already chalking up more negatives than positives - and the reason isn't hard to find - Cingular.That's a figure so modest it suggests Apple is (publicly and in the short-term) happy to see iPhone take its place at the top of the iPod range - with existing owners upgrading, and perhaps attracting a few new buyers. It's sensible to take a conservative line, because for all its bling, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
