Default UK Yahoo

The UK-specific site of worldwide brand Yahoo! Is a comprehensive Internet search engine.

Registration with Yahoo is a simple process that only took us a couple of minutes, and straight away Katie and Rob were able to start adding special events and tasks to their personal calendar - and arrange for automatic reminders to be sent to their email Inboxes. The calendar was full of handy extras. The Quick Add function let us enter information with minimum fuss, and the buttons to edit or delete any details were always easily accessible. As well as entering the time, date, and venue of any event, Katie was impressed that she could also enter up to 120 characters of free text for any supplementary info (say, 'Remember to take a bottle!'). People like Rob, whose working life doesn't involve much chatter across the PC monitors, may be pleased to note that they can send friends and colleagues automatic email invitations to an event - including a link for an RSPV. We found the Address Book just as easy to use as the calendar. You just click Add A Contact to get started, then fill in the usual fields for names, email addresses and phone numbers. Rob was particularly pleased to note the ample extra space for additional info such as postal addresses and personal details like birthdays and anniversaries. There's also a print option, which may come in handy when you're scribbling all those Christmas cards (or, better still, all those Thank You notes for the vastly expensive and much-wanted gifts!)
