Default 3-way linkexchanges

Many people going around talking about how 3-way linkexchanges are better than normal link exchanges technique. Can anyone help me understand that a little bit more? Why is it better? Isn't it basically the same?

What i prefer to start for my new site?

3-way link exchange is an attempt to disguise reciprocal link exchange.

It is generally accepted that one site trading links with another is pretty useless as to improving your position in the serps. So the idea is that three sites exchange links (site a links to site b - site b links to site c - site c links to site a) - unfortunately this is a non-starter as Google can detect up to 6 way exchange.

I always believe that 3 way linking is far better than normal link exchange . Consider Site A links to site B which links to site C which links to site A. I have few sites that uses them in this way. I suspect that having them on different servers and/or with different IP addresses is also helpful.

One way link exchange is useful but majority of good one-way links come from paid advertising. The problem with that is that when you quit paying for those links, they cease to exist. My best advice for you to get a site with good content ,content is the key to getting links .

I have read a lot about the bad reputation of 3 - way link exchanges .hey are 3 different websites all 1 way linking to each other. You will often see this touted as the best link popularity tool but it is basically a hoax. You will be asked to form a partnership (or can do it on your own) whereby two websites will link to each other but the 2nd website, your partner website, is owned by a third party that will, out of courtesy, also link to your website. The third website is a blind however and contains nothing but outbound links.
