Wikileaks to Provide a Home for Leaked Government and Corporate Documents

A website called wikileaks will be launched in March and will publish leaked documents from corporations and governments around the world while protecting the identity of the person responsible for the unauthorised release of the document.







This will be interesting to watch considering Wikipedia has been on the news lately because of the writers and what they are writing. One writer was found lying abut who he was, when he was a college drop out but claimed to be a professor. Another wrote a false article, and there was a lawsuit over it.

Although wikis are generally used in a positive and constructive way a new project, Wikileaks, seems to represent a lot that is bad about the having web pages that just anyone can edit.Wikileaks calls itself ‘an uncensorable version of Wikipedia for untraceable mass document leaking and analysis’ and claims to combine ‘the protection and anonymity of cutting-edge cryptographic technologies with the transparency and simplicity of a wiki interface.’
