This time we're talking vector graphics There are quite a selection of vector editing tools in the FOSS realm, but probably Inkscape is the one thats taking the lead. like the GIMP, its comes in variety of platform support from Windows, MacOSX, GNU/Linux, and other Unix-like variants. It may not be as feature rich as the commercial counterparts like Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand, but you'll be amazed as to what were possibily made with Inkscape.
